We are excited about the Olimpic Games in London! Our friends from St. Joseph's are working on the questions we made about the Olympics. They'll try to answer them back!

    The first Olympic Games were held in 1896 in Athens, Greece.

    This is the third time the Olympics have been held in London. It was also there in 1908 and 1948.

    The Olympics start on 27th July and end on the 12th August.

    There are 205 countries taking part in the Olympic Games.

    There are 26 sports in the 2012 Olympic Games.

    London 2012 Olympic mascots are called Wenlock and Mandeville.
